1. Data Collection

We strictly collect data necessary for providing and improving the Bot experience:

  • User Identifiers: We collect your Discord User ID and Steam ID (when linked) to verify your account and provide personalized features.
  • Profile Data: We may cache your Discord username, avatar URL, and Steam profile information to minimize API latency.
  • Activity Data: We track message frequency and voice channel duration strictly for calculating community XP and levels.

2. How We Use Data

The collected data is used exclusively to provide the Bot's core functionality, including:

  • Displaying your player statistics via the `/rank` and `/stats` commands.
  • Managing our community-wide XP and leveling system.
  • Ensuring server security through member verification.
  • Informing the community about upcoming pro CS2 matches.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with any third parties. We interact with public gaming APIs (Valve/Steam, HLTV, Leetify, Faceit) to fetch gaming statistics, used solely for displaying your profile.

4. Data Retention

Activity data is stored as long as you remain a member of the CS2Friends community. Linked profile data (Steam ID) can be removed at any time upon request, which will reset your associated Bot stats.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, modify, or delete your information. To request a data deletion or more information regarding your privacy, please contact our community moderators through the official CS2Friends server support channels.
